Brian Grant is the founder of Southern Shore Financial Group, LLC and brings more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. He works with individuals, families, and business owners who want thoughtful guidance and a clear understanding of their financial decisions, without pressure or one-size-fits-all approaches.
Brian’s approach is rooted in conversation, patience, and perspective. Rather than leading with predefined products or transactions, he focuses on listening first and understanding what matters most to each client. His work often involves helping clients organize priorities, evaluate trade-offs, and navigate personal, family, and business decisions as circumstances evolve. When appropriate, conversations may include coordination with other licensed professionals to ensure decisions are considered carefully and from multiple perspectives.
Brian has served in leadership roles within the financial services industry, including as a Partner in New York Life’s Gulf Coast General Office. That experience provided broader perspective on training, mentorship, and the responsibilities involved in supporting clients through complex financial decisions.
Brian is a graduate of the University of South Alabama and has deep roots along the Gulf Coast. He is married to his wife, Jessica, and is the proud father of two children. Growing up in competitive sports, including soccer, swimming, and baseball, helped shape his appreciation for discipline, preparation, and long-term commitment.
Brian is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and a 2019 qualifier with the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals which is recognized globally as the standard of excellence for life insurance sales performance in the insurance and financial services industry. This reflects his commitment to professional standards and continued growth within the industry.
Outside of the office, Brian enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing and is also a World Champion Barbecue Pitmaster. That same respect for process, patience, and steady execution carries into the way he approaches client relationships.
